Hon Tumiso Rakgare hosted CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe and his entourage at the Ministry headquarters yesterday Afternoon.

Issues discussed in the meet and greet included among others, Botswana’s desire to bid for AFCON 2027 with Namibia and the quest to develop Botswana football through the Botswana Football Association.Dr Motsepe encouraged Botswana to bid for AFCON 2027 bearing in mind the rigorous process of adjudication entailed in the assessment of bids.

Minister Rakgare posited that Motsepe has proven to be a football administrator with a strong conviction in upholding principles of good governance.
