CAF President arrives in Botswana for Forbes U30 & Football

The CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe visited the Lekidi Football Centre and had meetings with Football leadership as well has having a business dinner organized by Botswana Football Association. Dr Motsepe urged Botswana businesses to support Football as an investment to growth of the economy.

Dr Motsepe also had an opportunity to meet the The State President Dr Mokgetsi E. K Masisi who expressed Botswana’s desire to host the 2027 TotalEnergies Cup of Nations.

The CAF President took part also on the Forbes Under 30 Summit Africa that is currently underway in Botswana’s .

The four-day programme that kicked off on Sunday at the Botswana Innovation Hub sees the CAF President headlining a distinguished panel of leaders in the spheres of business, sport and the arts where he will be unpacking a number of pertinent issues that can positively impact the growth of the African game, while also sharing his thoughts on the promise and power of the African Century.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
