CAF B diploma coaching course starts

Monday marks the start of phase 2 of the CAF B diploma coaching course For the first group of coaches of 2019.

The coaches will undergo training in areas of preparation for midseason football, physiological finance of athletes and many areas of the game.

This will be the last phase before undergoing external assessment from CAF. Botswana Football Association Technical call director Serame Letsoaka believes the coaches have been positive and show a great will to learn and improve the quality of football in the country.

Phase 2 will run from Monday 22 October 2018 till Friday 26th October 2018


Its The Orange FA Cup Final!

League champions Township Rollers take on Orapa United in the 2019 Orange FA Cup Final on June 15, 2019, at Francistown Sports Complex for the finale of the first edition of this beautiful knockout tournament.

Rollers head into the game chasing a domestic double, having already clinched the Premiership. Orapa is seeking to be the first team to win The Orange Fa Cup, after finishing 3rd on the Premiership log this season.

The two teams have had a beautiful run into the final. The tournament saw Chobe and Bobonong host their biggest football match ever. Mapalastina faced Kazungula FIghters in what was referred to as David v Goliath clash in the Chobe area. On the other hand, the Ostriches gave Peace Makers of Bobonong a few peaceful lessons by putting the ball in the net 10 times.

Captain Omatla Kebatho, who is also the top goal scorer with 6 goals, will lead the Ostriches. Keagile Kgosipula of Rollers goes into Saturday final with a clean sheet, not having conceded a goal since the tournament started.
