In a defining highlight of the 2024/2025 season, Gaborone United ended Jwaneng Galaxy’s remarkable 28-match unbeaten streak, showcasing not only tactical prowess but also the resilience and spirit of true champions.

This triumph is more than a title — it’s a powerful statement of ambition, consistency, and collective effort. From the players and coaching staff to club management and the unwavering support of fans, every member of the Gaborone United family played a role in this historic achievement.

Maokaneng Bontshetse Appointed To Represent BFA On BFL Board

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Maokaneng Bontshetse, Vice President 1 of the BFA, to the Board of the Botswana Football League (BFL).

Mr. Bontshetse brings a wealth of experience and leadership in football governance, which will be crucial in advancing the development and promotion of football in Botswana.

In line with Article 17.5.5 of the Botswana Football League (BFL) Constitution, the BFA has nominated Mr. Bontshetse to represent the association on the BFL Board.

He will join an esteemed group of board members, including Independent Chairman Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, Sipho Showa, Tirelo Thebe, Thekegelo Nelson Gabofiwe, Goitsemodimo Tsietsano, and Tumelo Moreri Toteng.
