Gelson Fernandes started his day with a meeting with senior officials of the BFA. He then later hung around with the media during the press conference where he discussed FIFA forward programmes and other relevant FIFA-related topics.

 

In addition, Fernandes congratulated the FA and its technical department for their successes in developing football, especially women’s football. Fernandes sealed his daytime activities by touring the home of football, the Lekidi Football Centre.

 

Mr Fernandes was accompanied by FIFA regional development officer Mr David Fani, BFA CEO, Mr Mfolo Mfolo, Ms. Lobito Ncube also the BFA NEC member, Botswana Premier League CEO Mr. Senzo Mbatha and Botswana Premier League chairman Mr. Nicholas Zakhem, among others.
