Launch of Broadcasting Partnership

Botswana Football Association in conjunction with Baboneng Film Productions kindly requests the pleasure of your company at the upcoming launch of the BFA First Division Broadcasting Partnership. The launch will be held in Gaborone on Thursday, June 2018.

Speaking to the BFA Media, Vice President Mr Pelotshweu Motlogelwa said they are proud to announce that the Football Association and Baboneng Films make history. Baboneng Films becomes the first private company to broadcasting First Division soccer games live on television.

This will be done through Maru Sports channel and NOW TV (MYSEC Youth Channel) which is dedicated to different sporting codes.

Baboneng Films will work with AlfaCam SA, who will handle all the technicalities of our live broadcasts to the whole of Africa.

The launch will be graced by The Assistant Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Hon. Moiseraela Master Goya and The Assistant Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and culture Development Hon. Makgalemele .

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
