The media, all stakeholders and the public is informed that the Women Senior National team, The Mares will play against Cameroon on Sunday, 17th July 2022 in their effort to book a ticket for the intercontinental play offs. They are expected to arrive back home on Tuesday 19th July at 1425hrs. The Botswana Football Association is very pleased with the ladies performance and cannot wait to welcome them back home. The Mares have been in Morocco for the 2022 TotalEnergies WAFCON which is our Women Senior National team’s first appearance at the highest level in Africa and has been a dream come true. The ladies continued to fly the countries flag high as they managed to reach the quarter finals.
