Botswana Women Senior National team “The Mares” has safely landed in Sir Seretse Khama International Airport this afternoon from Rabat, Morocco.

Botswana participated in TotalEnergies Women Africa Cup of Nations where they kicked out of the race of qualifying for the  𝟮𝟬𝟮3 FIFA  𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 Worldcup stage, following exits against the Indomitable Lionesses  on the 17th July  for the FIFA World Cup Inter-confederation Playoffs.

Also in attendance who came through to welcome the team was Botswana Football association CEO, Mr. Nfolo Nfolo, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sport and Culture Mr. Kitso Kemoeng, BFA National Executive Committee (NEC) member, Ms. Lobito Ncube and Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) Chairperson Mr. Marumo Morule.
