Message of Condolences to the Family of Sunday

Botswana Football Association President MacLean C. Letshwiti yesterday sent a massage of condolences to the family of Patrick Sunday. Sunday who played in the BFA structures in the mid-90s and even featured for the Zebras passed away last week.

“There is no word that can express how sorry we are about the death of Patrick Sunday. In times like this, God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help“, read the President’s massage.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10“, continued the massage.

Sunday will always be remembered for his football skills, love and passion for football. Sunday will be laid to rest in Palapye on the 20th January 2018.

From myself and the Botswana Football Association, we ask the Sunday families to be comforted in this difficult times.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
