The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has learnt with shock the passing of Sankoyo Bush Bucks FC (SBB FC) former chairperson, Mr Mokolobetsi Pelekekae. 

A firm and solid football devotee, Pelekekae’s leadership made sure the Maun region produced a club to hobnob with the big boys in the elite league.  He served as the SBB FC Chairperson from 2015 to 2016, a time during which club made its debut and formidable mark in the BTC Premier League.

Football has lost a very passionate administrator who worked tirelessly to ensure that SBB FC players’ welfare was prioritized.  On behalf of the BFA president, the National Executive Committee (NEC), and staff, including all the structures of Botswana FA, we send our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Pelekekae’s family, SBB FC and the whole football fraternity at large.
