Head of Women’s Football IWD Message

Bfa Head Of Women’s Football Tsholofelo Sethoko International Womens Day Message

As we celebrate Women’s Day in this trying times of Covid 19, we need to take this opportunity of no activities to look back and reflect on where we come from as women football and where we want to see ourselves as a whole. Women football has grown exponentially at all levels in recent times and the degree of passion for the sport shows that there is potential for further growth.

I believe women are the largest untapped reservoir of talent and empowering them should be a priority also making sure we provide them with equal opportunities in our country. If we invest in a girl/women we are investing in everyone. There is no limit to what women can accomplish if we work together as a team, if we want to grow women football we need to increase the female representation in decision making bodies and remember that where there is a women there is magic.

I WANT TO BE COUNTED AS A WOMAN WHO IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN SOCIETY, what about you?
