Postponement of Matches – CAF

Postponement of CM Interclub (Total CM Champions league & Total CM Confederation Cup 2019/2020) Semi-final matches and FIFA U-17 Women World Cup Qualifiers due to the situation of COVID-19
Following the continuous concern on the COVID-19 virus and the lockdown in most countries on the continent, CAF Emergency Committee has decided to postpone the following matches until further notice:
  • Total CAF Champions League and Total CAF Confederation Cup Semifinal matches: Both legs scheduled for the 1-3 May & 8-10 May 2020 respectively have been postponed until further notice;
  • FIFA Women U-17 World Cup Qualifiers initially scheduled from 1-3 May and 15-17 May 2020

CAF shall announce the new program In due time.

We would like to assure you that CAF is monitoring the situation closely and working with competent authorities such as the WHO on the impact of the virus on the continent and CAF Competitions.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
