Under-20 scopes silver medal

Botswana Women’s Under-20 scoped Silver medal at the ended AUSC Region 5 Games after a slender 1-0 defeat to South Africa Botswana in the final in Gaborone on Saturday.

Lindokuhle Gladile scored the only goal of the game on 75 minutes as South Africa kept up their excellent record in this competition to take home the gold medal, consigning Botswana to a worthy silver.

Keitumetse Dithebe from Botswana finished as the leading scorers with four goals to take home the Golden Boot.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.

The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
