Major Bright is new Zebras coach

Botswana Football Association would like to announce the appointment of Major David Bright as the new Zebras head coach. Major Bright will be on a three year contract. Bright brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the local game and in the international game. Coach Bright has won League titles and cups in in the Botswana League and has a vast knowledge of local players.

The Zebras coach will be assisted by Sthandwa Mogwadi, with Thabo Motang as goalkeeper coach. Major Bright and his technical team will lead the Zebras against neighbours South Africa in the CHAN qualification game as their first assignment.

The association wishes the new technical team all the best and hopes the nation will support coach Bright and the Zebras.

Major Bright will be  formally unveiled at Lekidi on Monday, and all media houses are invited.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
