Botswana National Under 17, Diamond Zebras, played to a 1-0 and 3-2  defeats to the hands of Lesotho Under 17 team. The Diamond Zebras had to come from behind twice but Lesotho finished the Botswana of with a brilliant counter-attack in the final game to win both practice games.

National Under 17 coach Tumi Dicker says he will have to fix the errors in his team to ensure the boys are ready. The coach says the team can, however, take a lot of positives as they seen beforehand their strengths and weaknesses and will work on them before the COSAFA Under 17 schedule for Mauritius. The tournament winner will automatically qualify for the Africa Youth Championships set for Tanzania
