BFA through the Technical department held a closing ceremony for a goalkeeper coaching course that has been ongoing for the past four days in Jwaneng courtesy of Debswana Mine. In attendance was Her worship the Mayor of Jwaneng Town Hon Olga Ditsie, the BFA CEO Mr Mfolo Mfolo, Ms Letang Mbaakanyi from the office of the Town clerk amongst others.

When welcoming the guests, Her worship the Mayor of Jwaneng town Hon Ditsie closed by advising our coaches to take part in the fight against Gender Based Violence in their respective communities.

“As a woman, I have made it a personal choice that every time I’m given a chance to speak I can not leave the floor without mentioning the 16 days of activism against gender based violence…” she highlighted.

Her worship was also thrilled to notice that there were women amongst the participants, she showed her excitement by showering the ladies with ululations as they received their certificates.

Tsetseng United Earn Promotion To First Division South With Flawless Play-Off Performance

Tsetseng United have officially earned promotion to the First Division South League, following a spectacular run in the Western Block Promotional Play-Offs, where they claimed victory in all three of their matches to finish with a perfect 9 points.

The standout moment came with a dominant 4-0 win over Ghanzi Swallows, a match that not only demonstrated their attacking prowess but also sealed their promotion in emphatic fashion. Tsetseng United impressed throughout the tournament, combining disciplined defense, fluid teamwork, and clinical finishing.

This impressive unbeaten streak cements Tsetseng United’s position as one of the most promising clubs rising through the ranks of Botswana football. Their discipline on and off the pitch, tactical execution, and unity were evident in every match played.
