It is with great sadness that I have learned of the passing of Orapa United and National Mens team player Mr Lesenya Lee Ramoraka.

On behalf of the football community, I would like to pass my deepest sympathy and unwavering support to his family and friends and everyone that knew and loved him.

Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time.

All official football matches across must forthwith, be played with a Moment of Silence before the match until Ramoraka’s burial.

May the soul of our son, brother, teammate and friend rest in eternal peace.

Maokaneng Bontshetse Appointed To Represent BFA On BFL Board

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Maokaneng Bontshetse, Vice President 1 of the BFA, to the Board of the Botswana Football League (BFL).

Mr. Bontshetse brings a wealth of experience and leadership in football governance, which will be crucial in advancing the development and promotion of football in Botswana.

In line with Article 17.5.5 of the Botswana Football League (BFL) Constitution, the BFA has nominated Mr. Bontshetse to represent the association on the BFL Board.

He will join an esteemed group of board members, including Independent Chairman Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, Sipho Showa, Tirelo Thebe, Thekegelo Nelson Gabofiwe, Goitsemodimo Tsietsano, and Tumelo Moreri Toteng.
