Notwane & BR Highlanders Promoted to BTC Premiership

Botswana Football Association would like to congratulate the 2017/18 First Division Champions, Notwane FC and BR Highlanders FC on gaining automatic promotion to the elite BTC Premiership.

We wish the two teams the very best in the 2018/19 season.

Maokaneng Bontshetse Appointed To Represent BFA On BFL Board

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Maokaneng Bontshetse, Vice President 1 of the BFA, to the Board of the Botswana Football League (BFL).

Mr. Bontshetse brings a wealth of experience and leadership in football governance, which will be crucial in advancing the development and promotion of football in Botswana.

In line with Article 17.5.5 of the Botswana Football League (BFL) Constitution, the BFA has nominated Mr. Bontshetse to represent the association on the BFL Board.

He will join an esteemed group of board members, including Independent Chairman Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, Sipho Showa, Tirelo Thebe, Thekegelo Nelson Gabofiwe, Goitsemodimo Tsietsano, and Tumelo Moreri Toteng.
