The circular serves to inform you that as per Article 27.2 of the Botswana Football Association (BFA) Constitution, the Ordinary General Assembly of the Botswana Football Association will take place on Saturday 22 August 2020 at Francistown.

2. The NEC has received a request from the Electoral Committee whereby the Electoral Committee has noted that the elections candidature procedure (evaluation and publication of official names of candidates) has taken longer than was initially planned.

3. Henceforth in order to ensure the smooth running of the electoral process and to promote a fair and credible election, the NEC considered that the request is justified.

4. All relevant documents will be sent together with the formal notification as per Article 27.3 of the BFA Constitution.
