BFA statement Against Violence in Football

The Botswana Football Associations strongly condemns Violence in Football. The BFA has noted with disappointment the scenes witnessed at the National Stadium on Sunday 1st March 2020.

Anyone responsible for these disturbances cannot be seen as a true Football supporter and they are not welcome in football. They are an embarrassment to the game and the thousands of well-behaved fans who follow the local league in the right way.

BFA is investigating the matter and will be liaising with the Prosecutors office to ensure action is taken accordingly.
