Opening of Transfer & Loaning of Players

The Botswana Football Association is set to open the 2019-2020 January transfer window on Wednesday 8th January 2020. The window will be open until 1700hrs on Friday 7th February 2020.

The BFA advises clubs to strictly adhere to the procedure laid in the BFA play rules and Regulations.

Maokaneng Bontshetse Appointed To Represent BFA On BFL Board

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Maokaneng Bontshetse, Vice President 1 of the BFA, to the Board of the Botswana Football League (BFL).

Mr. Bontshetse brings a wealth of experience and leadership in football governance, which will be crucial in advancing the development and promotion of football in Botswana.

In line with Article 17.5.5 of the Botswana Football League (BFL) Constitution, the BFA has nominated Mr. Bontshetse to represent the association on the BFL Board.

He will join an esteemed group of board members, including Independent Chairman Peter Emolemo Kesitilwe, Sipho Showa, Tirelo Thebe, Thekegelo Nelson Gabofiwe, Goitsemodimo Tsietsano, and Tumelo Moreri Toteng.
