In the effort to grow our game we must facilitate for growth by providing education on the game. Yesterday morning marked the start of the Youth Coaching Course in Gaborone. The 5-day course is being delivered by FIFA course instructor Kim Poulsen.
The course is hit locally, with 40 participants, or should we say future coaches. The same course will take place at Francistown on the 11 - 15th December 2017.
The same afternoon also marked the start of the MA/Youth referees training course which will be a week long too.
“We must plant the seed for our future to be assured. This course will be very instrumental for the development of football in Botswana. 30 young referees across the north will now be well equipped with paramount refereeing knowledge as they take the field as officials, “ said the BFA PRO, Tumo Mpatane
Mr Mpatane further said these coarse has been organised by BFA in a very strategic and timely move which will open up a lot of opportunities locally.
“I want to thank BFA, FIFA & Kim Poulsen. AND All the best to the future coaches and referees,” Mr Mpatane concluded.
