Local referees set for a bigger stage

Botswana Football Association would like to congratulate FIFA panel Referee Tirelo Mositwane on his appointment on the upcoming Under 17 AFCON staged in Tanzania. The tournament will be hosted in April 2019 and the highly experienced Mositwane will undergo high-level training in Morocco before the championships.

Still, with our Referees, we would like to congratulate Referee Joshua Bondo who is set to fly to Morocco to attend VAR training for the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Egypt this year.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.

The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
