Young Zebras return to COSAFA Championships

The Young Zebras make a return to the COSAFA Under-20 Championships after missing the tournament in 2017.

Botswana’s best finishes in this competition came in 2009 and 2011 when they managed third place
young zebras last appearance came in 2016 when the side lost all three of their pool games without scoring a goal.

In 2018 the team has been drawn in group C against Angola, Lesotho and Zimbabwe in a draw conducted today Wednesday 31st October 2018. The 2018 COSAFA Under-20 Championships will again be played in the Zambian city of Kitwe from December 2-14.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.

The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
