Botswana off to a Winning start

Botswana coach Gaoletho Nkutusang says Botswana will approach every game as a do or die battle as they want to qualify for the knock out round of the 2018 Cosafa woman’s championship.

Nkutusang said this on the back of a 2-0 win over  Malawi in the opening group game of group A. The gaffer believes Malawi was a steady team that possessed a challenge to them but discipline and keeping a shape helped Botswana get a win and managed the game with comfort.

The coach says the win today is now a distant memory as they now prepare to face host South Africa who is high on confidence. They will be using the tournament to prepare  For the 2018 woman’s AfCON in Ghana.

Ronald highlighted that Friday’s game will be a different game as the generation of players she has are fearless and wants to achieve something.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
