Botswana Premier League Board Of Directors Meeting

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) National Executive Committee (NEC) notes the developments of theBotswana Premier League (BPL) Board of Governors meeting of Saturday 26th March 2016 at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC). Following this meeting, the BFA NEC is in contact with the relevant parties to establish finer details and the legality of some of the developments from the said meeting. On behalf of the NEC, I have directed both parties to submit a composite report by end of business yesterday (Tuesday 29th March 2016), following which a way forward shall be determined.

On the basis of the foregoing, execution and implementation of all resolutions adopted at the meeting of 26th March 2016 shall be stayed forthwith pending submission of the composite report from parties involved. In the meantime, as the BPL business has to run, the BFA Secretary General/Chief Executive Officer shall take charge of the BPL office until further notice.

The BFA will endeavour to treat this matter with urgency it deserves, and hopes to have this matter resolved as soon as possible.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
