2018 CAF Licencing Courses dates released

Botswana Football Association will hold three (3) CAF Licensing Courses this year: two (2) CAF ‘B’ License Courses and one (1) CAF ‘A’ License as follows:

  1. CAF ‘B’ License Course for South Zone to be held in Gaborone in two phases;
    • Phase 1 on 13th – 22nd August 2018
    • Phase 2 on 22nd – 31st October 2018
  2. CAF ‘B’ License Course for North Zone to be held in Orapa in two phases;
    • Phase 1 on 17th – 26th September 2018
    • Phase 2 on 3rd – 12th December 2018
  3. CAF ‘A’ License Course for elite coaches to held in Gaborone and Francistown;
    • Phase 1 on 3rd – 12th December 2018 (Gaborone)
    • Phase 2 on 8th – 17th October 2018 (Jwaneng)
    • Phase 3 on 12th – 21st November 2018 (Gaborone)

It should be noted that in-between the phases, participants will be expected to do some practical work as part of their practical assessment. The advert will be published next week for eligible candidates to apply. Furthermore, all candidates’ information will be verified and endorsed by the Regional Football Associations Leadership and/or our Associate Member as per the application form requirements.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
