Letshwiti off to Russia

President of the Botswana Football Association, Mr MacLean Letshwiti, left this fternoon to Moscow, Russia. The President is set to join the organising committee in carrying out the duties of running general protocol of the world cup.

This role of being a member of the organising committee will greatly benefit our football as he will use it a part of capacity building and ensure experience gained is given back to our local structures. Premier League chief executive Thabo Ntshinogang will also be off to Russia today to attend a high profile FIFA conference on football global best practices of good governance and running of Football structures.

The President is expected back home after the final of the world cup.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
