Zebras started their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying journey with a slender 1-0 defeat away in Libya.
Salah Taher scored in the 56th minute to hand the Libyans the win in the Group J match played Martyrs of Bnina in Benghazi.
The game was a closely contested match until the Libyan’s got what seems a very soft penalty on the 55th minute. The shot stopper Goitseone phoko saved the penalty but was beaten by a follow up shot.
The mighty Zebras now shift their attention to the favourites in the group being Tunisia, who will trip to Francistown to face a wounded Zebras outfit.
The zebras will fancy chances against Tunisia who line up against Equatorial Guinea on Thurday night before heading to Botswana.
A game between Botswana and Tunisia will be played at Obed Itani chilume Stadium on Sunday 5th June 2022 and tickets are on sale at spar stores and webtickets across the country.
