SESENYI STRIKE ENOUGH FOR ESWATINI

Botswana Senior mans  National team the Zebras defeated Eswatini 1-0 this afternoon  in a practice match played at the University of Johannesburg stadium in South Africa.

Thabang Sesinyi’s 73rd minute strike was enough for Mogomotsi Mpote’s charges who dominated ball possession and should have scored more goals as they created numerous chances.

For his part Caretaker Coach Mogomotsi Mpote highlighted he was happy with the overal team shape and the work rate the boys showed in the game.  

“The boys had the right chemistry and telepathic connection, we will work on the shape more in the next day or two, we will be ready for Libya and Tunisia at home .” said Mpote

The zebras will travel on Sunday to Libya for match day one of the Total Energies  Cup of  Nations Group J qualifier opening match.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team β€œThe Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
