Young Zebras get a complex route to under-20 CAN champions

The draw for Botswana under-20 team has been described as complex as it is offered national teams that have often produces talented players and are competitive in the age group.

The under 20 draw will see the young Zebras needing to eliminate the brave worries of Namibia if that is successfully done the team will have Congo to deal with on a home and away bases before a possible date with either Egyptians or Senegal awaits in the final qualification game.

The young ZEBRAS, however, will be boosted by the sponsorship recently launched for development national teams,  where Choppies is sponsoring the under-20, 17,15 to a tune of P3 780 000 for three years. The under 20 has been hard at work since the start of February with weekend camps as they drill their skills and ensure they are ready for the just-announced draw.

Botswana will host Namibia in the last weekend of March before heading to Windhoek for the return game in early May.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
