Zero tolerance towards corruption

The Botswana Football Association would like to put it on record that the association is conducting a financial investigation with the assistance of law enforcement authorities on suspected FRAUD, MISAPROPAPRIATION OF FUNDS AND THEFT of the association’s funds.

We would like to inform the media, public and our stake holders that we have suspended all employees that are suspected to have any involvement in this investigation, the association will suspend and expel anyone found to be suspected or guilty of maladministration.

The current Administration of the Association has absolutely NO room and NO tolerance for corrupt practices or individuals who are enemies of progress of our local game. A full report and brief will be relied to the public, media and stake holders once an investigation has been concluded.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
