2018 Women’s Under 17 World Cup Qualifier

This correspondence serves to invite members of the Media and Public to the 2018 Women’s Under 17 World Cup Qualifier second leg game between Botswana and Zambia at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Friday 27th October 2017 at 1600hrs. 

Zambia currently lead the tie 5-2 from the first leg played in Lusaka. The National Under 17 Women Team, under the mentorship of Coach Tabaphiwa Gadibolae will attempt to avenge defeat from the first leg. The winner of the two legged games will play South Africa with the eventual winners of that game heading to Uruguay in 2018.

Zambia is expected to arrive in Gaborone on Tuesday 24th October 2017 and will head back to Lusaka on the 28th October 2017 a day after the game.

Entrance at the game is FREE, Hence the public is edged to come in large numbers to support the lady’s in their quest to qualify for the World Cup in Uruguay 2018.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
