Young Zebras beat Comoros Islands

Botswana’s Young Zebras beat Comoros Islands 2-1 in the other Group A clash at the Sunset Stadium on Tuesday to record their only victory of the competition.

Phaza Chose put them in front in the first half before Youssouf Mohamed equalised for the islanders. Botswana was able to grab the win though as Kaone Kolagano scored midway through the second period.

The Young Zebras finished the tournament on four points and will return home on Tuesday.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.

The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
