COSAFA delegation returns home

The national under 20 delegation to the PPC Cosafa Under 20 challenge returned home from South Africa ,after bowing out of the challenge in the group stages.

The head of delegation Masego Ntshinghane also head of youth development asked the boys to continue working hard for their improvement and growth as players and future zebras.

Ntshingane edged the players to learn from the past and never forget the defeated in order to be better from them ,Masego has highlighted to the boys that they should be proud of their selfs as only a few get to represent their country.

The N.E.C member told the boys to go and get a deserved rest and bounce back to start work soon again . The technical team was also thanked for their efforts and also asked to go and revamp and better themselves.

The Head of Delegation closed off with saying “in football you constantly learn and try to improve your game by putting energy and effort , also learn from those around your game.”

Senior & U-20 women name final squads

Botswana women’s senior national team coach Jacqueline Gaboinelwe, and women’s under-20 national team coach Taphaphiwa Gaebolae have both named their final squad to compete at the 2019 COSAFA championships in Port-Elizabeth South Africa.

The women’s national team has been drawn in group Zambia, Namibia and Mauritius. They will play from July 31 – August 11.

The under-20 has been drawn in group B alongside Eswatini, Tanzania and Zambia. They will play from August 1-11.

The two teams are in the camp until they depart for Port-Elizabeth on the 28th July 2019
