President Letshwiti visit Central South

This past weekend Botswana Football Association President MacLean Letshwiti visited the Central South Regional Football Association to officially launch the 2018/19 regional leagues.

President MacLean highlighted that he was happy to inform to all that this is one of the Central-south region that host elite youth league under 15 and 17, with his visit the President had got a chance to see the cream that elite youth structure is producing in the Central region and indeed in Botswana.

The president also donated 30 balls to be used in the youth structures and promised to roll out capacity building workshop to assist with challenges they have.

Zebras to return home today

The Senior National team the Zebras are set to return home today after their goalless draw on matchday one against Zimbabwe. The Zebras who now focus on a date with the current African Champions Algeria will have little time to rest as they face the Desert Foxes on Monday night at the Gaborone National stadium.

Coach Adel and his charges are expected to land in the country at 1900hrs at the Sir Seretse Khama international Airport. The Zebras opponent Algeria, on the other hand, landed in the capital city on Friday night after play a day earlier than the Zebras on Thursday.

Tickets for the Zebras vs Desert Foxes are still on sale at all Shoprite and Ok furniture stores in the country with Grandstand going at P 30.00, Panda stand going at P20.00 and North and South stands going for P10.00
