The Women’s Football Department of Botswana Football Association (BFA) is pleased to have received support from FIFA under the League Development Programme granted last year.
The support also focuses on the development of match officials in women’s football in their respective regions to support our women’s leagues. The Women’s department was able to purchase equipment that will be shared with the Referee division to distribute through the regional committees to the regions where there is a need.
The head of the BFA Women’s Department, Ms. Tsholofelo Setlhoko, handed over the equipment to the BFA Referees Department where it was received by Referees Manager Mr. Phodiso Rasetsoga for the development of women’s football and in particular referees in the regions.
