BOTSWANA MATCH OFFICIALS GET AFCON 2023 QUALIFIERS CALL-UP

Four Batswana referees will fly to Benin as they have been selected for the AFCON 2023 qualifiers for the Benin-Rwanda match on March 22, 2023.

The four FIFA international referees include Joshua BONDO who has been selected as the whistler for the match and MOGOMOTSI MORAKILE and Kitso Sibanda as assistants 1 and 2 respectively. TSHEPO MOKANI GOBAGOBA has been appointed as the fourth official.

Tholakele Made It to BNSC Sportswoman of the Year Nominees

The nominees for the category of the sportswoman of the year at the 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) have been unveiled.

The reigning CAF Women Champions Golden Boot and Vunani Annual Botswana Women Sports Awards winner Refilwe Tholakele is up for yet another accolade, this time at The 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) Awards after the sports commission announced a list of nominees on Thursday.

The BNSC announced that, in addition to Tholakele, two other athletes have been nominated for the award: track and field athlete Oratile Rose Nowe and karateka Lesego Masimola

The winner will be announced on May 18,2024 at Royal Aria Convention Centre
