BOTSWANA MATCH OFFICIALS TO HANDLE TotalEnergies CAF CC 2022/23 IN MALI

 
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed four Batswana referees to officiate the TotalEnergies CAF CC 2022/23 match between AS Real de Bamako of Mali and Young Africans of Tanzania on February 26.
 
Joshua Bondo has been appointed as the main referee, while Mogomotsi and Kitso Sibanda will perform their duties as assistant referees 1 and 2 respectively. Tshepo Mokani has been assigned as the fourth official.
 
BFA would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to its own referees who have been appointed to this role. We are very proud that we are making progress in our football development not only on the field but also in refereeing.

Botswana Loses Out On AFCON 2027 Hosting Rights

The African Football governing body, Confederation of African Football (CAF) today the 27th of September 2023 revealed the joint bid by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania has won the race for the hosting rights of the host of the 2027 Continental showpiece in Cairo, Egypt.
Meanwhile, The CAF Executive Committee also announced Morocco as the host of the AFCON 2025.
