Zebras top group B

A late equaliser on the 88th minute from Kabelo Skhebo Seakanyeng saw Botswana getting closer to the quarter-finals. Botswana drew one all with Malawi at the ongoing COSAFA tournament in Polokwane.

The tournament’s current top goalscorer and also a player of Gaborone United, Kabelo Seakanyeng, says the halftime team talk by coach Major Bright inspired them to come from a goal down and get a point from the match. The speedy winger has impressed some scouts in South African. When asked about it, Seakanye said he is open to moving to a bigger and better competition. But he said at the moment hi priority lies with Zebras and making his country proud in COSAFA.

Botswana will go into the last round on Friday 01 June with one point advantage. A win for Botswana will see them face the defending champions Zimbabwe on Sunday 03 June 2018 in the quarterfinals.
