The HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Womenโ€™s Champions League 2022 will be staged in Durban from August 7-13 and once again serves as a qualifier for the continental finals.
 
The Botswana team Double Action Ladies, which advanced to the semi-finals last year, will again compete for the title.
 
Double Action will play in Group A along with South African team Mamelodi Sundowns and Mozambican sports club Costa do Sol who will be making their debut at the HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Womenโ€™s Champions League in 2022.
 
The team (Double Action Ladies FC) will play their first match of the campaign when they face South African side and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on August 9 at 12:00pm.

The winner of this yearโ€™s tournament will advance to the continental finals that are scheduled to be played in Morocco late in the year. There is only one slot for COSAFA teams.

Botswana Loses Out On AFCON 2027 Hosting Rights

The African Football governing body, Confederation of African Football (CAF) today the 27th of September 2023 revealed the joint bid by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania has won the race for the hosting rights of the host of the 2027 Continental showpiece in Cairo, Egypt.
Meanwhile, The CAF Executive Committee also announced Morocco as the host of the AFCON 2025.
