Tie is still alive

National Under 20, Young Zebras, played to a goalless draw on Sunday against their Namibian counter parts.  Assistant Mike Mogaladi praised his defence for being sound and stable and highlighted that it was very important they keep a clean sheet. Mogaladi says they have seen the mindset of Namibia and should be going to Windhoek to complete the tie.

Young Zebras forwards were described as having frozen in front of goal today and by the assistant coach who was optimistic that the situation will be changed and more work will be done to go to the next round.

“Our boys will complete this job and we will go finish them off in their background,” lamented Mogaladi.

The Young Zebras will play a return leg in Windhoek in a fortnight.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
