On behalf of Botswana Football Association( BFA) BFA President Mr. Maclean Letshwiti congratulates newly elected COSAFA President Artur de Almeida e Silva in his new mandate and challenge to lead the regional football body.

Letshwiti says the new President brings about a new dynamic of deepened collaboration between the Member Associations during his tenure so that they can help each other flourish.

Mr. Letshwiti promises the new President his support as his country Botswana together with Nambia embark on an effort to lure and co-host the 2027 Afcon in the region for accelerated infrastructure development, football development and, tourism economic stimulation.
