Kowa off to CAF workshop

Botswana Football Association’s Technical Director is off to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) workshop for Technical Directors in Rabat, Morocco from 09 to 12 March 2018.

The objective of the workshop is to review the entire CAF coaching licensing system and to align it with the other Confederations to obtain an equivalence agreement with them. Also, we would like to introduce the new CAF Coaching license Convention.

At the convention, each Technical Director will prepare and present on the activities within the Federation for the year 2018/2019.

Tholakele Made It to BNSC Sportswoman of the Year Nominees

The nominees for the category of the sportswoman of the year at the 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) have been unveiled.

The reigning CAF Women Champions Golden Boot and Vunani Annual Botswana Women Sports Awards winner Refilwe Tholakele is up for yet another accolade, this time at The 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) Awards after the sports commission announced a list of nominees on Thursday.

The BNSC announced that, in addition to Tholakele, two other athletes have been nominated for the award: track and field athlete Oratile Rose Nowe and karateka Lesego Masimola

The winner will be announced on May 18,2024 at Royal Aria Convention Centre
