Youth Coaching Course in Francistown

Sunday morning marked the start of the youth coaching course at the Francistown Sports Complex with 40 participants.

The same course was run a week ago in Gaborone with seasoned FIFA instructor Kim Paulsen tacking our regional coaches and elite youth coaches through an intense training.

South African Born Serame Letswake will take the coaches through the mentoring this week.

The nominees for the category of the sportswoman of the year at the 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) have been unveiled.

The reigning CAF Women Champions Golden Boot and Vunani Annual Botswana Women Sports Awards winner Refilwe Tholakele is up for yet another accolade, this time at The 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) Awards after the sports commission announced a list of nominees on Thursday.

The BNSC announced that, in addition to Tholakele, two other athletes have been nominated for the award: track and field athlete Oratile Rose Nowe and karateka Lesego Masimola

The winner will be announced on May 18,2024 at Royal Aria Convention Centre
