British Council & BFA to conduct Premier Skills Coaching

The British Council in conjunction with Botswana Football Association will be conducting a Premier Skills Coaching course in Orapa from the 9th – 13th October 2017, and a football festival on Saturday the 14th October 2017.

Premier skills is a collaboration between the English Premier league, British Council and the Botswana Football Association that uses football to empower aspiring young coaches to address challenges that impact negatively in the lives of the youth and to infuse survival skills in their football training sessions. The course will be attended by 40 participants from North Block (Nhabe RFA, Chobe RFA, Boteti RFA and Francistown RFA).

A closing ceremony will be held in Orapa on Friday the 13th October and a football festival for 120 children shall be held on Saturday the 14th October 2017.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
