President Letshwiti travels to Zimbabwe

This communique serves to inform members of the media that the Botswana Football Association President Maclean Letshwiti yesterday (Sunday) departed for Zimbabwe to attend the COSAFA executive meeting.

The president was part of the audience that watched Botswana lady’s national team play against their South African counterparts. The president will be part of the COSAFA executive meeting that will discuss the year 2018 and look at the recent regional activities and planned events going forward.

Mr. Letshwiti is expected to arrive home on Thursday 21st September 2017 and will travel to Francistown for the start of the 2017/2018 league season on Saturday 23rd September

Zebras to return home today

The Senior National team the Zebras are set to return home today after their goalless draw on matchday one against Zimbabwe. The Zebras who now focus on a date with the current African Champions Algeria will have little time to rest as they face the Desert Foxes on Monday night at the Gaborone National stadium.

Coach Adel and his charges are expected to land in the country at 1900hrs at the Sir Seretse Khama international Airport. The Zebras opponent Algeria, on the other hand, landed in the capital city on Friday night after play a day earlier than the Zebras on Thursday.

Tickets for the Zebras vs Desert Foxes are still on sale at all Shoprite and Ok furniture stores in the country with Grandstand going at P 30.00, Panda stand going at P20.00 and North and South stands going for P10.00
