Ranking will go up

Senior National team coach Major David Bright says the current world and continental rankings aren’t good but are motivation for a better performance in order to see the team move from the lower segment of the rankings .

“We have been in a period of transition and results will flow and move us up, ” said coach Bright.

FIFA rankings are important and BFA will strive to moving put of the current area, we have made strides by trying to keep active on FiIFA dates. Botswana has dropped 6 places down in the latest FIFA rankings released today.

Zebras now ranked number 45 in Africa and 146 in the World.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.
 
The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
