Development Plan on Course

National Under 17 coach Tapaphiwa Gaebolae says the 5-0 thrashing of Zimbabwe on Friday night was a direct benefit of developing players and giving them international experience at an early age.

The coach highlighted that taking the National Under 17 women’s team to an Under 20 tournament helped her team get the much needed international experience and that’s how she managed to finish top 4 at the 2019 COSAFA Under-17 Championships.

Coach Taphaphiwa says her team is going to keep growing and Batswana should keep supporting the growth of women’s football. Coach Gaebolae says the Association must keep supporting the development of football from grassroots as they are currently.
