Referees Course For Women’s League

Botswana Football Association Referees Department will this week run a referee’s course for women only. The course has attracted 35 referee’s from all 17 regions.

The participants in the course are only women as the department tries to increase the number of women referee’s in the country.

The course will run from the 19th to the 23 November 2019 and will be conducted by FIFA instructors Carlos Henriques and refrees Manager Mr Jonti Rasetsoga.

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.

The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
